93 spx runs great in drive way but then dies in water

took my ski out today for the first time this year and runs like a top in the drive way. Was rideing about 15 mins then it just died. Could'nt start it in the water. To took it home and after makeing sure it had spark and fuel. It started up a runs just fine. Any that i can check to make sure its not starving for fuel under load? Thanks

Normally, I would say to check the compression... but if it was running, and died clean... I would say it was electrical.

Put in fresh plugs, cut back your wires a little, and check for loose or dirty connections on your ignition parts.
