Yes, the idle on the hose should be about 3000 rpm's as it doesn't have any load on the impeller. In the water with water load on the impeller it should be about 1500rpm's.
well took my seadoo out for the first time 3 days ago worked great for about 20 minuts the hitting small waves started acting like starving for fuel so at full throttle it spit and sputtered worked good then it did it again did this 3 or 4 times then stalled 2 times then wouldnt start it tried to. if i feathered the throttle. but no start. it has good spark dry plug. so i choked it made it worse so towed it back in went home it spit water out the exaust now starts runs out of water but sometimes have to feather the throttle to start it. any help would be appreacieted. already rebuilt carbs compression at 150 and 155 fuel filter clean selector valve clean and i am fustrated because i want to play!!!!!SO PLEASE IF YOU CAN HHEELLPP
If it's got fresh fuel and spark plugs, it might be the carbs are still dirty. When you cleaned them did you use carb cleaner to clean all the passages to? Sounds like dirty carbs.
should have the filter, looks like a white cylinder/water trap filter. Open hood up, remove the bin, and look inside there. You can remove it, and install universal one.
