93 xp 657 runs great on the hose but when I put it in the water it goes maybe 10 mph and feels like it’s a constant bog and won’t get up out of the water, I rebuilt the carbs, have good compression, good spark, just checked the crank seals. What am I missing or could this be an electrical issue or in the pump?

IS it running high rpm and not moving like a slipping clutch or is it not even reaching high rpm?

It is not the pump if it is not revving up.

Have you tired running a fuel line directly from the tank to the carbs?

Did you rebuild the carbs with Genuine Mikuni parts and follow The Carb Rebuild thread?

I did rebuild with genuine parts and per seadoo manual, pop off pressure also was good

I will run fuel line right from tank to carbs, right now I’m double checking gaskets, bolts and seals then reinstalling motor and going to test again.
