Hey everyone,
It's that time of the year again and in hopes of preserving my sanity while stuck at home, decided to give the GTX a quick start after sitting a year and a half; cranked over a little sluggishly but started up. My god the smoke though and it must of shot a half of a quart of oil out the exhaust port down by the pump. Noticed the previously full oil tank is down, so putting two and two together, the bottom end was full of oil and I gotta leak.
Any ideas how all this oil got into the engine? I see a oil line going into the side of the engine case and another going to the oil pump so I assume it's one of those.
It's a 1993 GTX 587 (white engine, dual carb)
