I have a 92 Seadoo GTX and am stumped. So I bought the ski with no reverse gate and decided as i’m fixing one up that I’d put one on. As I’m putting it together, I realize I have a seemingly stretched spring as well as a reverse cable that is straight that clearly needs to be connected to the bolt on the actual gate. What part do I need to connect the reverse cable to the gate screw? Also, do I need the spring? If so, where is it supposed to connect to?
