:ack:last week after launching our seadoos, and realizing too late that we forgot to put the drain plugs in, we pulled them out right away and drained them. WE let them sit for little while and got the '91 to start it lagged power but for a minute or two it had the usual burst of power but then it went back to not having any umph! when putting the throttle all the way down.

After pulling the spark plugs and starting it to kick any water out of the plug holes, i then sprayed some fogging oil in, ( as suggested from a local shop and let them sit for a few days. I tried to take it out tonight and still had the same problem, not much more power than idle speed.

Now my 90 had the same thing happen the same water filled day. we never got it started, but i did get it to start earlier today, after having to jump start the battery.

We took them both out today i think the battery just went dead. i had all the power i wanted, till i stopped to check on the '91 then the '90 wouldnt turn over. I also forgot to mention me and the wife are rookies to seadoos, these are our first ones and i'm not a very good mechanic. oil, plugs and gas is about the extent i can do, on my own
thanks for any tips tricks and help you have for me

Jump starting?

When jump starting the ski, was the other vehicle running? If so, you may have caused damage to the electronic module.

jumping

yeah that car was running when we jumped the '90. I got a new battery today, i forgot the wife has some silly work party. now i dont get to put the batter in and test it out, since the shop told me to put the batter on a trickle charger for a couple hours

cont...

i've finally put them in the shop to see if they could figure out why the one doesnt have power. they have had it for a week now. they said it wasnt the carbuerator. before i took it in i found the electrical box still had water in it. (oops) i told them that when i took it in.. are they soaking me for labor time? knowing maybe it was something in the box thats causing this?
