I took off the choke cable on my 91 GT it was broken will that have any issues with the motor other then starting? I also had to remove the rear carb to get a choke cable linkage washer out that accidently dropped in all the way into the intake manifold but finally got to it and it's removed, what a pain getting to the top carb mounting nut. Restarted the ski and runs ok now.

I live in Florida so i'm not too concerned about having to choke to start the motor it starts very easy without using it. Will there be concequences for not having the choke or should I replace it before running the motor for any length of time?

Thanks again.....

I would install a primmer. That way you don't have to crank forever when the engine is cold. (it will kill the starter, and is hard on the battery)
