Hey y'all. Im in need of a new starter for my 787. It does have a carburetor. I checked at pwctoday and sbt and they are both out of stock. Were would be a good place to buy a new starter? I already got one off of eBay and that doesn't have enough torque to turn the motor over. I got the engine running by taking the sparkplugs half way out to lower the compression. So I know that the engine is good. I also clipped jumper cables onto the starter side of the solenoid. I grounded the other wire on the spark plug base. So, unless the cable that goes between the starter and the solenoid is shot, I'm correct in assuming the starter is shot right?
Thanks for your help.
