787 rave valve removal and setting

I just removed and cleaned my rear rave valves.....99 speedster...The problem is the front ones. There is not enough clearance between the exhaust/water jacket and the Rave valve..can only lift half way out.................Any suggestions ???
Also.............After cleaning the rave valve's is there a way of setting the spring tension?

You need to take them apart and remove it in pieces...
