Is there any way to make a power valve come in sooner, some reason I thought I heard something about the spring but I'm not sure

i believe if you loosten the red caps on the rave valve, the spring pressure will be reduced, causing the exhaust pressure to open the valves sooner, just make sure they are the same turns out.

Yep... adjust the red caps on the 2 RAVE valve covers.

BUT... if you have them come in too soon... you will make a dead spot. When they open... you loose torque, but gain RPM. Generally... an older engine will run very well with the red cap flush to the black housing... or even full tight. BUT... it doesn't hurt anything to play with them. (just don't adjust the regulator on the water box, that looks like a RAVE cap)

yep. all the way down for lowend torque, flush for torque boost about 5k.

It's really a matter of personal preference. I like to turn mine in two or three turns so they open about 6000rpm. I find the factory setting which is flush with the top of the cap causes the ski to surge at about 5000rpm which is about where I normally cruise.

What if I loosen it, it just seems like from like a 3000 rpm cruise when I floor it it has like a 2 or 3 second delay before they kick in and take off I didn't pay attention to the rpms when it finally hit
