Rebuilding my 787 from ground up. Can someone help with oil line sizes? It is my understanding that I need 5/32, 5/16 and 1/2 inch lines. Is that the ID? And if so how much of each do I need. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Just replace the 3/32 oil lines from the pump to the intake. Unless you get OEM oil line to replace from the tank to the engine, I've never found tubing even close to the elasticity as the original stuff. Just my 2 cents. I know you want to replace everything, so do I. I bought OEM for my 95XP resto. But once it's filled with oil no one will ever know.

The larger hoses are 8mm and 12mm but the inch equivalent ones don’t fit correctly. If you want to replace them which isn’t necessary you should buy them directly from Seadoo.

I think a standard approach is to use Tygon F-4040A 3/32"ID 5/32"OD Converting to metric that's (3/32")*25.4 = 2.38 mm, and seadoo used 2.5mm ID polyurethane from what I recall..

An idea for fitting the large lines, you can increase the OD of the nipples by leaving the original tubing on the nipple and clipping it appropriately then push the replacement tubing on over top of that. Usually the large tubing is in good condition though, so I haven't tried this idea myself.

Oil leaks are messy and expensive so double check if in doubt. A dry paper towel lying in the bilge under suspected leak points is one method to find them. Sometimes a bushing or fitting is leaking oil that runs down the outside of tubing and travels to another location making it look like the leak is somewhere else, so fasten a paper towel around the tubing itself in this case, FWIW.
