The crankshafts for the 787 engine for both the RFI and Carb models, look the same. Does anyone have additional information if they are interchangeable?

No, they are different but I can't remember exactly what and they don't interchange.

Thanks, I figured they were different. I have an RFI ski and a spare Carb engine. Looks like I'll have to keep searching for another engine.

The crankshaft taper is different. The RFI crank can be used in a carb engine as long as you use the RFI flywheel. I can't remember if you need the Carb mag cup or not. I have a carbed cylinder, RFI cased engine in my 96XP, but can't remember how I got there.
