717 engine powerband

1996 seadoo speedster,,,,,, my boat seams to be doing something weird, my starbord engine will rev up normal when accelerating and seam to hit a sweet spot around 4500 rpm and take off with power and the other engine will rev up to 4900 and take off really tricky to keep at the same throtle in the 4500 to 5500 rpm. the throtle can go up together till the 4500 and starboard side takes off. then when you hit 4900 with the other one it will take off and cetch up, does this have somthing to do with one engine having different pop off pressures in the carb?

It probably has some cavitation... and the one engine is loosing suction in the pump.

Check the wear rings, and carbon seals.
