587 exhaust on 717 motor? Would it effect anything

Can you use a 587 exhaust on a 717 motor if you change the exhaust manifold out on it?

You would definitely lose performance, and it's that exhaust is not designed for the higher horsepower of the motor. So I would say no

No, these are tuned pipes, which means they match the exhaust gas pulse frequency to the engine. A pipe for a 717 will not work for a 587 or vise versa...
