Just purchased a 2002 GTX 4TEC from a Seadoo dealer where they put the ski through a thorough service before selling to me.
Before I took the Doo out I lubed the engine with Seadoo Lube to give some added protection. After using the ski for 30 minutes, removed the seat covers and there was smoke from the engine bay - not able to detect where this coming from.
I am hoping (and looking for confirmation) that this was just the lube burning off.
When I had my GTX 2 Stroke I used to lube this after every use and never got any burn off when I used it.
The engine bay in the 2002 4 TECH was also hot a couple of hours after I used it -Is this normal?
