210 Fire Extinguisher Location

On my 210 I have a fire extinguisher decal on the side of the starboard bow locker:


Inside the locker there is no holder or clip or anything that would hold a fire extinguisher.

Does anyone keep their fire extinguisher in this location? If not, why do you think they put the decal in this spot?

Mine was not mounted when we got the boat. I mounted it in that location, seems ok to me, far from a fire source and fairly easy to get to.

Our was mounted to the wall under the port seat cushion in the bow.
