Ok, I need some serious help PLEASE!!!…2010 Seadoo Challenter 210 - twin 155’s. Out this weekend and out of no where the starboard engine starts sounding rough and the temperature increases Up to 195 (188 is normal). No codes, or lights, no sporadic RPM changes. I shut it down immediately . Let it sit and fire it back up..same thing. Make it to the dock on port engine and pull boat out. Intake and impeller are clean no debris etc. I take it out tonight - check all; the fluids, pull the spark plugs (all look good). I fire up the starboard engine and it is louder than normal but sounds normal. Let it warm up to about 120 then shut it down. Look for leaks, checked oil for shavings everything looks good. Fire up booth engines and take it for a spin. Hit plane with no issues. As soon as it warmed up to 188 it started with the same issues..running rough and louder than normal. There is a slight change in pitch. …any help would be amazing!!.

Last issue I had with rough running was a bad coil. You could try swapping the coils to the port engine and see if it moves the problem.

As for the temp differences, if you have a laser thermometer you could check the hoses especially on the thermostat.

Concerning on the noise change. If you have the tools and ability to do a compression check, it might provide confirmation on the integrity of the mechanical side.

Perfect! Thank you for the advice. I’ll check compression today and see what I’m dealing with. Will try to swap coils as well if I can get it in the water this evening.

Yup. The picture actually makes them look a little darker than they are but all 3 are identical. So strange. As soon as it warms up starts running rough.
