Anyone seen a plug for the ski pylon on the swim deck? I found a couple references online about one being included, but as I bought the boat used I have no idea. May be a reason to order a 3D printer :).

My 2007 seadoo islandia came with one but the rubber broke down where the rubber is all sticky and gets stuck in the hole even after unscrew the thing. I have ordered a new one from the following website but still waiting for it to come.
Looks similar to your picture but you would want to check the diagrams for your year and model to see if it's the same or not.

Item 25 on the diagram, Part # 204073209

I just noticed you live in the same city as I do. If you can't figure out the plug thing then when I get my boat back from getting serviced you can try my plug to see if it works or not on your boat.

Thanks for the offer. It hasn't been an issue, but with all my other updates etc I figured I'd look for one.

It would be the same plug that you can use to plugs the table into. Should be a standard part. I'll do some digging.

Let us know, I don't need one but I am always very careful we don't loose it. would be nice to have a replacement just in case.

I ordered 3x 99139 plugs. they showed up today, but it's pouring rain outside. Guess I'll test fit them tomorrow.

The rain finally stopped, so I checked to see if the 99139 plugs fit the ski pylon hole.

Good news: They fit the table bases just fine.

Bad news, the ski pylon hole is about 1/16" smaller than the table bases, even though you can use the short table base in the ski pylon hole.

The original plug in on the right in that photo. Absolutely no identification of company or part number on the original plug.

I pushed the little retainer pieces out to get a better hold. My other thought was to run a piece of tape around it to tighten it up a little bit.

I searched the Shop Manual and there is no listing or note of the Part Number for this ski pylon plug that I could see. I would like to buy one as well.

First of all I need to get the pylon removed...what a bugger. I can twist and lift up a little but cannot see the 2-ball pins to push in. Guess I wil try spraying some silicone lube spray around the opening to see if this will loosen up the 2 pins.

I am going to call the local dealer to see if they have better drawings with a Part NUmber. If they have one, I will post it.

to remove mine I sprayed with lube and had someone lightly tapping with a hammer from underneath and it popped right out. if you remove the cap in the engine bay you can put something to reach into and hit the pylon.

I found the replacement plug at Ace hardware of all places. It is a 2" knockout plug. I found it in the row of drawers with all the specialty items. They had it in grey, which matches my boat anyway so a win-win. Even better, it was only $1.20. I guess that is a win-win-win!

I installed the plug. It is the exactly the same as the original part, except for the color.

Here are some photos:

If I wasn't at the coast for a few weeks, I'd have already checked the local, small town hardware store. They have a huge Hillman group section with all the little drawers. I go there for SS bolts/nuts/etc... You may have one of these local retailers around.

Unfortunately, they don't seem to have a dealer locator on their corporate site.
