I'm a new PWC owner (bought a Wake Pro 230 and GTX 170 last Spring). I did the oil change/winterization myself in November and when I pulled the Service Cover it appears that a couple of the nut housing (not sure what else to call it) had fallen into the hull on the 230. I got what I hope is the right replacement part - I have 2 questions about this situation:
1) Is it okay for those things to be floating about loose in the hull? I couldn't see them to pick them out so if this is a hard no then it feels like I'm looking at an expensive trip to the dealer :(
2) If I don't have the right part, is there risk/harm from riding without those bolts?

Thanks for any advice/guidance

I think you'd be OK to ride, but you could try a high pressure air hose and spray it under the engine to see if you could get it where you could retrieve it.

After a ride, it'll probably make its' way to the rear of the ski, anyways.

Is the access cover held on at all?
