Hi!

We just took our new SeaDoo GTX 130 out on the water to Havasu last weekend. Haven't owned one since the 90's and what a difference! Very quick and super fun. We do notice that the steering wheel seems off to the left by about 30 degrees when you are on Glassy water going straight ahead, I imagine we need to have this corrected at the first service but was wondering if its a straightforward fix?

I saw a YouTube video last week on how to adjust steering, but I don’t remember the model. You might want to search youtube for Seadoo steering adjustment. It was pretty simple, but had to raise the IBR bucket to see jet pump angle with bars straight (instructions in this forum or YouTube) then turn the steering cable adjuster on the hull, where it attaches to the hull from the handlebars. the location of the adjuster will be different on each machine, but if you can follow the steering cable from the handlebars, you can probably find it.

Shouldn’t take the dealer long to adjust it either. The guy in the YouTube video eyeballed his jet pump being a bit off center, and two or 3 turns of the cable nut adjuster straightened it out.

Okay,,,not sure if you solved your issues?,,,the jet pump will not affect steering, the venturi nozzle will,,,the steering should only be adjusted from under the front of the hull,,not easy to get at,,,but solveable,,,,,,not the venturi,,,do you have "opas?",,,that can affect steering,,,you want to thread on as much as possible of the hex fitting to the universal joint at the venturi...or it will eventually break.

They all lean. The sea bell holds a lot of water as does the exhaust. The extremely deep vee and con-caved vee nose along with wake shaping lines seems to lean excessively and lock out strait when turning at slow speeds sharply. It locks strait. And cross chop is nasty as the con-caved nose gets slapped by the cross chop.

I purchased mine and after out first trip I sold it and got another GTI SE170.
