After fresh gas and fresh plugs, fresh battery and all new fuses in a cleaned up fuse box the ski fires right up... purrs like a kitten but will not throttle up at all... I presume limp home mode?
There is a check engine light on. ?

Help! Going out of town to the keys in a few days! Can't get in to see a mechanic before then .

Any advise? Clear the limp home? Diagnos the engine light .?

Did you scroll through the MFD with the menu button button and check for any active fault codes? Any codes would definitely help to diagnose. Do you have a Candoo or Buds?

Thank you. Yes I have and I see no such faults or maintenance issues...nothing. running smooth as glass otherwise

Load test the battery,,,and Check that it is charging 13 plus volts,,,a failing regulator can produce your symptoms

You can reset the limp home mode by waking the ski and then pressing the set button for 30 seconds, then ski off, just in case.

Thank you. I'll try this. I can think of no other reason why I would be getting no response from the throttle... no Rev up no pitch changes.. nothing. Yet the ski will purr along at this idle run speed. Only indication is the check engine light

Your getting no throttle response at all? If that is the case it’s more than just limp home mode. Try checking for fault codes with the ski running.

If you are getting a check engine light, then there is a fault that the ecu is reporting. Like others have said, scroll through the fault display and see what it says. By the way, was the ski running okay before you changed all the plugs, cleaned the fuse box etc.? Did you clean the buss bars in the fuse box as well? The canbus signals go through one of those busses. Is the diagnostic connector jumper plug in place, it is mounted to the battery holder?

Hello pal. If no throttle it’s 1 of 2 things. It’s ether throttle lever on handle Barr witch you will need new one. or throttle control on the engine. Which you can fix. That’s if it’s fly by wire. Let me know. Pug pug.

There are several things that can cause no throttle response whatsoever. The most common is either an iBR fault or an iS fault which is done for safety controlled by the ECU. If you are getting a check engine then you have fault codes on new menu as described above.
