2016 - 155 GTX Making a whining noise when accelerating!?!?

160 hours on the machine. Riding great all summer and when I got to maybe 140 Hours I started hearing this noise. Does not seem like there is any loss of power; however, the noise is quite loud. I have been told it may be wear ring, impeller or in need of a new jet pump.

Any ideas? as I am trying to avoid doing unnecessary and costly repairs.

Does the sound change with RPM's?

If so, quite possible it's bad pump bearings.

The sound is pretty consistent regardless of RPM.

Check this link when you have a chance, and you should be able to see the video and hear the sound im referring to.
