Hi,
Just joined the forum and we're about to buy a new Seadoo. I reviewed the stickies and tried to do a search, but didn't see much on this. We're looking at a leftover 2015 RXP 260 (originally looking at 16 RXT 300). Any advice on current rebates, pitfalls, or pricing anyone can share with me would be appreciated. I have owned 4 previous PWC so familiar with them.

Looks like there is a 2 year warranty deal, but I can't find any rebate info. I'm being told to expect a price under $13k. Input anyone?

Thanks in advance!

Here in my area, I also looked at left over 2015 260's. I couldn't find one for less than $14.5 with trailer. So perhaps if you already have a trailer, you could get one in the $13k range.

I think you'll be quite lucky to find one below $13k at the onset of the season.

Good luck!

Trailer will run $895. The ski should be less than $13k according to the dealer. Guessing it sounds like a pretty good deal. Any issues with the 15 that I should know about? I know roughly about the SC rebuilds every 2 years, but not much else...

It has been some time since I've owned a ski. For 2016, the SC rebuild time is 200 hours. Not sure if every two years also applies. I'm also not sure if the same rebuild time is allowed for the 2015's. Someone with more knowledge on this will comment soon, I'm sure.

The intercooler has been an issue with this model. Upgrading to something like the fizzle replacement is a good idea down the road.

Is this also true for a 2016? What are the issues with the stock one besides heat-soak?

Looks like the fizzle intercooler isn't too bad at $549 or so. Will wait and see if there's an issue. Now I wish my wife wanted the red and black one instead of the yellow one...maybe they'll sell the yellow one before we get there.

Pretty scary these days when we can say $550 isn't too bad LOL.

I just ordered a replacement one for my unit $340 and I didn't bat an eye. Sigh....

Yeah, we're going tomorrow to buy it. $15k with trailer, tax, etc. That's what I paid for 2 back in 2002 and like $3k more than I paid for 2 back in 97. Crazy fast and crazy expensive!
