Bought two 2013 GTX-S 155 models a few weeks ago and thought I would post a few observations I have about this model (mainly in case anyone is considering one).

1. Why don't they offer the 215 HP in the model with suspension?? I learned about the GTX 215 after I purchased the 155s with suspension. My fault for not doing more research.

2. Takes two hands to open the front and rear compartments. My 2004 Yamahas were much easier to open since it had one latch in the middle for the front compartment lid.

3. Rear compartments are not water tight even though the lid has a gasket.

4. No cup holders. And no accessory that can be purchased (not on Sea Doo site anyway) to fit the compartment in front of the seat.

5. No option to default start in Sport Mode. It always starts in Touring mode which doesn't have near the response.

Brian - do you have anything good to say about your 2 new Sea Doos? Why did you dump your Yamaha if it was so good? Think positively!!

Many of the compartment doors have adjustable screws to help with the sealing issue.

That said, my new 2010 GTX has the adjusters but not the rubber cap that fits over them. You NEED/WANT those pads as they are what does the work.

See if this is your issue.

I just replaced the rubber pads on my 2011 GTX 155 as a couple were missing. The new ones have a eye catch that you put on the adjustable screw (you have to remove them to get it on) and that way you won't lose them. In any event, they are adjustable. No cup holders eh? What were you going to do on the lake...drink coco? LOL. Can't imagine any use for cup holders. Put a water bottle in the compartment.

The cup holder thing cracks me up. My friend's yamaha has one and nothing will stay in it past 30mph and light chop. Complete gimmick. If you want a cup holder, buy a boat.

The cup holder and the rooster tail. I wouldn't be surprised if they introduced a CB with a couple of whip antennas on the sides. Gosh, when are North American's going to make everything again...I can't wait for reshoring to take hold.
