Mine is being replaced as we speak and hopefully it will be ready to pick up tomorrow. I have a week off next week and I will be pissed if I can't use my new toy at the lake.

I got my GTI back today after repairs. They also cleaned the hull pretty good. I will test it out for atleast an hour Saturday morning and report back here.

I just picked mine up as well. They told me that the alignment was fine but the seal appeared to be a bad part. They replaced carbon ring, support ring, 2 o-rings and 5 elastic nut stops according to the paperwork I was given. I will try to test it out this weekend but unfortunately it's supposed to rain until Monday. Hopefully all is fixed however.

So I took my Ski out today for about an hr and half. I ran it hard as well. Came back in and checked the seal and surrounding areas. No dust what so ever. No water in the hull ether. It ran smooth with no issues. Success.

I wish I could try mine out. River is flooded here. I had to head for higher ground.

Not with all the stuff floating down it and the current as crazy as it is! I may take it out into the lake Monday. I'll let y'all know how it goes. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Well I took it out into the Lake for about an hour today. It performed really well and there wasn't any carbon in the hull when I got back to the camp. Hit 56 mph in light chop, I sure can't ask for more than that from this ski. I am a happy camper.

Just got mine back and ran it for 10 minutes or so on the trailer at the ramp. Revved it up a few times. No blow by all looks good. Will be running from Daytona Beach to St Augustine on Sunday over 100 miles so we'll see!!

That should be a good test. ;-)

i added a bilge pump just in case... LOL

On a different note I also installed the Cruise, no Wake mode, and Ski mode module... Pretty cool features for $149 free shipping from Amazon... No wake mode is da bomb.... BTW. I did it at the same time as the Sea Doo OEM Bilge pump kit.

When you run out of projects you may get bored enough to actually ride,,,,,

Both good additions to the ski.

Heck I did that BETWEEN rides!! LOL the night before..

BTW the dealer didn't have to align the motor. Sea Doo told them the seal was bad and it shouldn't have been an alignment issue.

Sea Doo had the dealer change the following parts:

272000177 Carbon Ring QTY 1
271001575 C Clip QTY 1
293300044 O Ring QTY 2
272000176 Support Ring QTY 1

The support Ring seems to be a stainless part.. mybe that part IS the alignment issue if they were out of spec??

I was thinking about removing the BRP logo plate and putting thru hull in the very same place. OEM directions I think have it installed below or at waterline which I think is ridiculous! Did you put a "vent" hole in the hose like they also recommend which I don't think is needed? Also did you wire straight to battery or in with ignition?

The hose had a pre made vent hole so I left it. I bought the OEM kit so it wired right into the fuse block. I don't think the vent hole is necessary above the waterline. The fitting works perfect in that location.

That's what they replaced in mine as well.

I've put 4 hours on mine since it was repaired with zero dust in the hull. Seems to run smoother as well.
