I have a 2011 GTI 130 and absolutely love it. After 2 years of constantly swapping ridders it is time to get a 2nd ski :ack: I was originally going to go with the GTI 155 but someone made the comment since I love my hull and the way it handles so much i might as well go with the GTR215 as it is not all much more since as most of you know is identical to the GTI's except for the engine.

I want something reliable, and to be honest the SC is scaring me to death. I havent found a straight answer whether or not sea doo fixed the Ceramic Bearing fiasco. I know that it will be more to maintain but if i stay on top of the SC and the maintenance (which i do anyway) do i really need to worry? at what point does it need to be rebuilt? 100 or 200 hours?

Any thing else i should know before i pull the trigger tomorrow? Is season closing as easy to do as the GTI? It is a WICKED good deal, I might as well just walk in to the dealer and steal it off the racks for what he is giving me it for  and then seadoos current special makes it all that much more sweeter.

Thanks! :)

Cut the deal this morning, Put a deposit on her and will pick her up in 2 weeks!! gotta get down to Virginia to get her, last one on the east coast!

If I would have seen this yesterday, I would have said to get the 215 engine. I have a RXT-X with the SC 255 and LOVE the ski.

Washer issue was fixed in 08 for the most cases.

You will LOVE the power and how the ski rides.

Thanks! that makes me feel a bit better. To push me over the edge he threw in a 2 year additional warranty over the 1 seadoo is offering for a total of 3 years. considering I only have 38 hours on my GTI130 i should be well within the warranty if something should go on the supercharger.

Cannot wait to get out on the water and try her out, I can only imagine how well she is going to pull in the water :D

What is closing procedure? is it any more difficult then my GTI?

Thanks! :)

The SC can keep water in the lower section. Manual will tell you that and how to get some antifreeze into that air box area. Other than that pretty much the same. I also own a GTX 155 and love it as well. You will find the difference is like driving a Cadillac Vs driving a sports car.

Both can pull skier no problem, RXT won't even know it is doing so. LOL. I imagine your new one will be much the same. Congrats and enjoy,,,,
