Yep- I did what I tell my kids not to do and hit the bottom of the hill on my other Honda turning while taking off in a circle. The crack is about 4” long. What material is this -plastic? Here is a pic. Should I take it to an auto body shop? The pic is on the trailer- not great and it loaded sideways.

My Seadoo is the one with the crack in the hull. I’ve that is a type of plastic so no fiberglassing for a fix. A couple say to use a plastic welder and then another had a pdf about using a poly epoxy to repair it. It’s pushed in about 1/4inch.

Somehow, I doubt that your hull is made of plastic. I thought plastic hulls on GTIs only started in 2017 (I have a 2018 with this new polymer hull).

Your picture is not clear. Could you take one more from more afar.

I just researched the specs and the hull is FRC Fiberglass Reinforced Composite.

It’s standard fiberglass. Repair with fiberglass and epoxy resin to do it correctly. For a strong but not pretty repair use Marine Tex epoxy.
