It's been quite a journey with this model. First half hour out on the water and the maintenance light comes on. WTF! I stopped and checked everything out and everything seemed in order. About an hour and a half later I'm cursing at about 30-35 mph and the motor looses power iBR light comes on and check engine light comes on. WTF! So I head back to the dock and as I approach I cut the motor. I started it back up to reposition myself because I had no reverse or neutral function and suddenly everything went back to normal except the maintenance light. WTF! I bring it back to the dealer and no codes came up in the history. They reset the maintenance light and could not give me a reason why this happened. Intake it back out on the water and it's Awesome! Smooth, fast and comfortable.....until the iBR light came on again. I got stuck in reverse and had to wait for a few min to restart the motor and pray it went back. It did go back and right to the dealer I went. Apparently the iBR gate came off the tracks and now I'm waiting to get it back. I did notice the suspension squeaking and I'm waiting to see what's wrong with that as well. I only have about 8 hours on the ski. None of this should be happening! I picked it up for about 15500 with a trinton trailer from Artic Cat in Sullivan County NY. Theirs much more to this story but this is the main sh!t. Awesome dealer, very helpful. Unfortunately I sometimes feel like I should have went with a kawi or yam. Like I said the ski is amazing when everything works!

Hang in there man, its the price you pay for being one of the first. If any other manufacturer came out with the newest latest greatest thing, and you bought it, I imagine similar problems. Grats on an awesome ski.

Zoo Keeper, start checking fault codes when the check engine light comes on. Just hit the Mode button a few times until you get to something like "display codes" then hit the up or down arrow button. I'm going by memory here, but instructions on how to do this are in the manual. Get the codes so that you can report them to the dealer. I think that once you turn it off, the code is lost.

Thanks. I have written them down. The BUDS system was supposed to pick up the codes in the history and it didn't. Apparently I just found out the iBR actuator had to be replaced. I hope this will be the last of my problems.

I agree but I believe this model has been out since 2009. Three years is enough time to work out kinks. Thanks
