I'm working on rebuilding a 2010 seadoo RXT 215 and i've been trying to remove the engine but I cant seem to get the drive shaft out. This model has the 2009-2010 shaft with the nut on it but i'm confused what to do after I unscrew this. Should it just pull out or am I missing something. I have the Jet out and I can see the shaft but I cant seem to remove it free from the engine.

Anyone have experience with these shafts? I'm definitely upgrading it to the 2011 shaft because i'm pretty sure this is the reason the engine is shot as it looks like it pulled the bearing out the engine and was run without oil before it died.

Nut has left handed threads but once it is unthreaded and loose have someone pull with medium force on the the end of the driveshaft and then another person tap lightly on the inner shaft of the rear bearing with a brass punch. It will come right out once the bearing slides off the shaft.
