2010 215 gtx

Had to change the battery in my ski. Now it will only do 54 mph. It was doing 70 before battery change. Any suggestions ?

I have never seen this issue before...

Make sure all of the connections are very good. Even though the battery is new, it may have a cell issue. I have seen a bad rectifier cause this issue but it is rare in a 4-tec.

I also noticed. In reverse. It will hit 8000 rpm. In forward it will only do 6200. Thanks for your reply

What happened to change battery?? Did you short something out when you put battery in? You need to explain?

The factory battery got weak. So I carefully replaced it no shorts
