Hi guys,

I have problem with sterring on my 2009 RXT 255 IS jet ski and need some help.

Problem is that sterring is not in aligment(Jet ski is going to the left when my sterring wheel is in center so i have to hold it all the time little on right side for jet ski to go straight ahead.)
I assume that i need to get to the sterring cable and adjust it but i dont know from which side i can get to it (from engain capartment or i can get to it from front side somewhare)

If you guys can give me some instructions or post pictures how can i get to the cable and how can i adjust it i would be much appreciated.

I trayed to search on web for solution but no luc so farr so i am hoping i will find solution here.

Thank you very mutch in advance and sorry for my bad english typing

I THINK you can do minor adjustments at the nozzle and more severe adjustments at the handle bars. I read this somewhere, just don't recall where.

Hi there, lift the front storage compartment out, and with a flashlight you can reach your hand back to the steering cable were it is mounted. There are two 10MM head bolts there. You have to loosen them off. There is a nut that gets locked down by them with a cap. The two bolts hold the cap down, once you loosen the two 10MM head bolts you can turn the nut to adjust the steering, place the jet nozzle in a straight position with the handlebars turned. Now adjust the nut until the handlebar becomes straight. Retighten two 10 MM bolts and you are done.

Thank you Coastiejoe,

Yes i read somthing like that to, just dont know how to get thare, was hoping that i dont need to dismount all Suspension system to get in engain capartment for that

You don't need to take anything apart, besides loosening the two bolts I told you about behind the front storage compartment. I just did this adjustment on mine. Read above. But if you wish to pull the hull apart or make it more difficult than the 2 minutes it took me to get the bars straight, you are more than welcome to. Good luck, I have the same model ski.
