2009 GTX Ltd has no get up and go?

So, I have a 2009 GTX Ltd that has no get up and go. What I mean is that when I hit the throttle it revs up but not like it should. I don't get top RPMs either. I thought maybe it was the SC, so I had it rebuilt (never been done), that didn't solve my problems. Any ideas, I'm dead in the water on this one. Thanks in advance.

You may have two issues.

Does it Rev up (even though not max RPMs) and you don't go (as in take off like it should)?

I'm thinking you have a wear ring issue and some sort of an intercooler issue. If the hose comes off, you will lose about 1/3 of your RPM and performance. Same result if the intercooler itself is cracked..

So take a look at the wear ring as the hose of the intercooler.

It does rev up and it takes off but not like what it used to. Its run primarily in salt water. I checked the hoses and the intercooler. What am I looking for on the wear ring.

A gap between the impeller and the wear ring. If it is wider than the width of a dime it needs replaced.
