I just purchased a 2009 GTI SE, beautiful machine, handles excellent, starts very easy on cold starts but has trouble on warm starts. Sometimes it takes 4 tries of the starter to get it to fire. I took it to a dealer (dead beat) and he told me it was a loose electrical connection and gave it back after holding it for two weeks, one of which was my vacation (kinda pissed about that one). Does anyone know what could be up? The machine only has 4 hours and I am under the idea that these engines are supposed to start on the first hit of the button every time, at least when new. Thanks for your help!
