2008 vs 2010 Wake 155, any comments welcome

looking to buy a 155 Wake edition this fall; a brand new '08 is ~$8,699 and 2010 new is ~$8,999. What, if any differences are there? Thanks for any help- Go Vikes!

Big difference. The 2008 is essentially the same as the 215 Wake with the smaller engine. (I prefer the smaller engine from a maintenance standpoint, as it does not require premium fuel, and you don't have the supercharger to potentially go out.) The 2010 is the same engine but a completely different hull and configuration. The 2010 does not have any of the ballasts either. The price of a 2008 back then was $10,000+. I'd go with the 2008, given they are both brand new. I am biased, as I own a 2008.

thanks for the information, I was unaware of the hull changes. I agree in terms of the smaller engine, potentially fewer problems/costs. Much appreciated and have a nice season, Ben
