2008 GTI SE alarm sounding

I have an 08 GTI with the alarm bell sounding. I believe it is associated with the temperature that shows on the guage.

Anybody able to tell me where the plug or sensor is? A picture would be great!!!!!!!!!!

gauge pod, says Sensor? I think it might be a loose connection, just dont know where?
