2008 GTI 130 speedometer trouble shoot.

I just picked up this doo for a steal at $4000 with only 15 hours. And the only thing wrong is the speedometer isnt working? anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong?

fuse or anything maybe?

Or am I just ignorant and the GTI 130 isnt equipped with a speedo?

It definietly has one. Does the rest of the instrument cluster work?

I'm pretty sure the GTI 130 does'nt have a speedo. A GTI SE 130 would. Look at the rear of the ski and see if there is a paddle wheel.

Dennis is correct. I checked with my friend who has 2 GTI SE's. His has them and he said the standard GTI doesnt. That kind of nuts that a speedometer isnt standard.

The standard gti only has a tach and no speedo it is a option and can be added but the dealer wouk have to reprogram the ecu to make it all work
