Hi guys, new user here so if this question has been asked before, I apologize.
I'm having a fuel sensor problem on my 2007 GTI. I filled it up with fuel today before going to launch it, and filled it up in the same way with the same fuel that I always do. When I started it up and started to back off the trailer I started getting a message on the gauges saying the fuel was low and the fuel gauge and emergency light were flashing as well as alert beeping. I was puzzled since I had just filled it up moments before. I turned it off and started it back up (it had no problems actually starting) and it did the same thing. At this point I had pulled back on the trailer but was still in the water. I started again and everything was normal (no beeps, lights, etc.) but as I backed off of the trailer it started alerting me again. I turned it off and started it one more time and this time the message said "SENSOR". Like I said, it started fine but just kept doing this.
So, my question is has anyone had this issue or know what it could be?
After it doing that I decided not to venture out on the crowded water. Ultimately if I can't solve the issue myself I'll take it to the guy that I typically have do maintenance on my PWCs.
Thanks in advance!
