just a general question for those that owns Jet Boats and are or had this issue.
looking around, reading different forums and watching all the youtube videos related to this matter, I can not find the solution or may be noone has asked the question and came back to the forum and post a solution/result.
so, for what i understand is we should NOT custom make anything to go where the grate is because it simply doesnt work. instead of keeping things out it attracts more.
so what i think is that these jet boats has a lot of bow raise and leaves pretty much EVERYTHING to go directly to the pump instead of pushing it to the sides of the boat.
Installing trim tabs (Smart trim tabs) would help in theory. has anyone installed tabs on a C180? if so can you show some pics and tell us about it? any results?
or if anyone has done something else and has worked let us know please...
