I haven't replaced those... yet.
Though my mechanic believes they will throw a code if there was an issue with either of them. At the end of the season we replaced the crank sensor and cam shaft sensor. I'm hopeful it could be one of them, but haven't had an opportunity to test yet. If they weather cooperates I'm planning to take it out this weekend.
