I recently purchased a 2007 GTX. The cluster did not work when I purchased. Only 82 hours on machine per the previous owner. The first time I took it out it ran fine until we cut off after riding on and off for a few hours, then just a clunk. We towed in and charged battery. Took back out yesterday and ran fine. With exception of the occasional short beep. Today, while hooking to truck to go get new cluster installed, I decided to check voltage at the battery per the manual at 5500RPMs. Machine just turned over but did not start. I had disconnected the cluster moments earlier. Only difference. Will this keep machine from starting? I connected it back and then I got the "clunk" again.
