2007 Rxt and 2008 Gtx fuel usage

I am totally new to jet ski's having owned a new 2007 Rxt and a new 2008 Gtx for just over a week now. Both ski's have the 215 hp supercharged engines. The 07 Rxt is getting about 35% better fuel efficiency than the 08 Gtx, is this common? What could cause such a huge difference in fuel usage between these two PWC's with the same engine?

wow, nobody here knows anything about the comparative fuel usage of those two skis?

Nope, not the weight. The 07 Rxt weighs in at 815 lbs and the 08 Gtx weighs in at 805 lbs. They are also both modified V-hull designs. I just wonder if I got an especially efficient Rxt or a really inefficient Gtx, or if this descrepancy in fuel usage is normal? Thanks for your response however!
