Well, 160 hours certainly tells you that it is not new. But, hours on a machine is kinda relative. What really matters is how the previous owner(s) have taken care of the machine.
A machine with 40 hours can be in worse shape than a machine with 200 hours. You have to thoroughly inspect the machine to tell what kind of shape it is in and not rely on the hours.
I am not familiar with Honda PWCs, but a well taken care of 4-stroke Seadoo should last 400+ hours before any major work may be required.
