2007 gtx reverse cable coming up

Someone help reverse cable coming up when throttle applied only doing like 20mph. Any suggestions? 2007 gtx model

I'm sorry the lever is rising while on the throttle

There is a spring on the left side of the reverse gate linkage (at the rear of the ski). It holds the gate up when not in reverse. It's probably missing.

It is still there. This is annoying it is more then likely something little im missing any help would be great. thanks in advance

Is there much play in your lever? When it moves to this up position has the bucket actually moved or is it slack in the system.

Incorrect spring or incorrect placement of the spring.

Check your reverse scoop, it will probably require adjusting, if it drops whilst at high rpm it could possibly break the jet housing retaining bolts. Does your ski have VTS?

VTS is Variable Trim System. As for adjusting the reverse system you'll just have to follow through the system and make all adjustments necessary.

I could be wrong but check that when the handel is down
is the nozzil cup all the way up,

if some one ever had the handle off and put it back on
a tooth off your housing would be down some

you don't have vts and there is no gear in the system, it is a straight push/pull cable system. the reverse bucket is held in the up position by a spring, that's it. you may need to replace your spring or it is not hooked in the correct location like red2blue said.
