2007 GTX 155 P1656 code

First time post. I have two 2007 GTX 155s that were sitting on their trailer in the back yard. Went to fire them up and they both give me 1 big beep followed by 4 fast beeps. Shows code P1656 on both machines. If it gives me the four fast beeps that reminds me of the key attached, does that mean the key and switch are ok? Is the problem in the wiring or ECU?? Thanks in advance.

Are the batteries charged and good? No, 4 beeps only means you left a key on and the post and key are at least half way working. That code is a dess post error but is unlikely that both machines posts failed at the same time. Are you using the proper programmed key for each machine? Are you using different keys? When did they run last? Need more info to provide help.

Thanks for the reply. They last ran in April 2017. Parked until July when I was going to use them, so they died between April and July. Batteries are charged. Swapped keys to make sure, but same results. ??????

Jump the solenoid to make sure they will turn over. If not, you need new batteries.

Finally had a chance to jump the solenoid. It turns over. when I press the start button, I can hear the fuel pump turn on, but nothing else. ?????????????

Check the starter solenoid.
