2007 215 Wake

Hey guys,
My 2007 215 SC did a wierd thing today...While I was out riding I got one long beep followed by my lake temperature dissapearing. It did this many times....disconnect lanyard and water temp reappears....then happens again.
No error codes were displayed or engine warning signs?
Any thoughts?
Loose connection from the spedometer wheel?
Fuse?
Bad Sensor?

Could be all of the above but could possibly be a bad ECM.
