I have a 2006 Seadoo GTX Wake Edition.

I have tested the battery; good amps and voltage.

When I place the key over the post:
  • Instrument Panel displays properly with no errors
  • I hear a click (sounds like a relay switch activating)
  • I can hear what I believe is the fuel pump

However, there is NO beeps, and nothing happens when I press the 'start' button.

Any suggestion???

I would start with checking all the ground connections, esp at the starter then working my way towards the battery and solenoid. Your beeper is less than 6 yrs old so i doubt if it's just that.

Did you get the battery load tested or are you just checking it with a meter?

Could the click be the solenoid?

Regarding the battery; yes, I did test the battery load.

As for the checking the grounds.... I am not sure where to start. I have the manual, so I'll be sure to reference that. What exactly would I be looking for? ....Loose connections? Corrosion? Continuity?

Also, what issues could the solenoid cause? But as for the 'click' , it's like the sounds a SPDT Relay makes when voltage is applied ....not sure is the solenoid makes a similar sound.

don't check your grounds, check your solenoid first. jump the terminals and I'll bet it starts, those year 4tecs had solenoids that would click but not transfer voltage to the starter so they would fool you but yours isn't even clicking so it may be dead.

also, beepers can go bad in 1year, they fail frequently. if your gauges come to life properly and you here a click and the fuel pump start, it's ready to start.
