Hello All! I had a question about a possible boat purchase I'm thinking of making. The boat is the 2006 Seadoo Utopia 205 with twin 155HP Rotax engines. He is asking $16,000 and is open to offers, which I think is a lot! It is a clean boat though.

The boat has 190HRS, which was slightly concerning to me. Not familiar with Rotax engines that are not supercharged. How many hours can you put on these engines?

What would be the most common problems with these engines, and do any big repairs usually need to be done?

The boat is located in Michigan, and the seller is 2nd Owner.

What do you guys think? Thanks

The 155s are very reliable and would expect to get over 1000 hours with proper maintenance. There are no real known problems with that motor in the na form.

The price is about right in today's market for Michigan, Ohio, Indiana area in the midwest.
