2006 RXT impeller

Would a 2007 rxt impeller part # 267000699 also work the the same in a 2006 RXT , I purchased the wrong part I got the one for the 2007 #267000699 but I need the 2006 # 267000285. They do look different and I was wondering if the 2007 is a better impeller.

The impellers are usually matched to the engine output. You will probably find the pitch is different n the new prop which will change the characteristics of your seadoo. Depending on the pitch it may change the speed getting out of the hole and also the top end speed.

I'm not sure what year it was when seadoo changed the driveshaft. It may have been 2007. That means that the splines on the impeller you have will not match the splines on your driveshaft.

the driveshaft change was 2009. seadoo seems to change part numbers on their impellers about every year for either no reason or very minor reasons such as minor pitch changes but has no noticeable affect by normal people on a stock engine.

The pitches didn't change from 06-07, both 10/21s. I would bet that the 2007 will work fine on your 2006 and you don't even notice a difference, other than it works like new.

The original impeller on the 2006 had round edges on the blades at the wear ring and the 2007 comes to a point at the edges
