hey guys. just bought an RXP about a week ago so i am very new. but i have already, 1. sucked a ski rope into my intake grate 2. rolled the ski over in the water to try to get the rope out(had no idea that was a very bad thing) 3. droped the ski in the water, rode around for about 20 mins and realised i left the two little twisty noob things open , from when i was trying to get the water out of the engine bay from when i rolled it.
after i got the ski back on shore i took the seat off and there was about 3 inches of water in the engine bay. i took it home and shop vaced the water out but i was wondering if i needed to do anything else.

thanks for an help i get

3 inches thats it or was there more water in it? ive had over 1-1/2ft in mine. I left the drain plugs out of my boat last weekend cause i was so excited to be going boating on a warm weekend ahhaha i was suprised how little water got in but i did remeber as soon as i was off the trailer so just jumped in the water and put them in. Anyways Pull the intake off the throttle body and check for water and also be sure to check the oil for water ( if theres water in the oil itll look milky).

get and read your owners manual? Might be a very good place to start to learn about your ski, and how to handle it on the water. Boaters safty course might also be good.

i bought the ski used with no owners manuel. but i am looking to get one by the end of the weekend. thanks for all the suggestions, i will check everything you told me to check today.
