2006 RXP Gauges not working.....

I bought a 2006 RXP a couple of months ago that was stored in a building which the roof collapsed due to a snow storm in January. The ski only had 64 hours, The ski still ran when I bought it however it suffered cosmetic damage due to the roof collapse.
I have completely redone the ski over and fixed all the damage. It looks good as new.
I did take the ski apart to fix a hole in the body and painted the entire hull. Gauges were working when the ski was taken apart. I recently put everything back together and gauges do not work. Ski runs fine and I had it out on the water. No issues running at all.
The second day when I took the ski out the gauges were then working when I first started it and rode for bout 15 minutes with them working. Once I turned the ski off and back on they would not work again.
A few times the whole gauge would be lite up where all numbers are 8's.
Obviously something happened from taking them out to putting them back in. Any ideas would be helpful. It is a great ski but would be nice to have working gauges.

Sounds like a ground wire issue to me.

Edit: Also check all your fuses in the block. Check the female receptacle for each fuse in the block for corrosion.

I have 2 RXT's and both the dash units are Toast.

This is a known issue and It is not a cheap one to fix. The dash units themselves range in price from around the $500-550.00 range and up. They must also be flashed to the correct year and then married using the CanDo or BUDS software.

I just run both of mine with no dash unit info.

You may have a ground or connection issue as stated but be aware the dash will likely fail soon.

Yeah, what they said.
Loose wire or bad or dirty connection to either feed or ground.
If you assembled with your sweaty hands then clean the contacts with 100% alcohol with acid brush, then reassemble.
Also check the connectors for bent or recessed pins. It happens.

I checked all grounds and cleaned them. Did not work. I then checked power path. Power going all the way up to the gauge. There is a bad connection at the gauge. When wiggling the wire sometimes the power comes back and other times nothing. At the moment I do not know if it is the plug or the gauge.
